Did you know?

  • You should use about an ounce of sunscreen to cover your body – enough to fill a shot glass. That’s about 2 tablespoons.
  • Broad spectrum: This means it filters out both UVA and UVB rays. Both contribute to skin cancer.
  • The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using SPF 30, which blocks 97 percent of UVB rays.

How Often to Apply

  • Not water-resistant: Reapply every 40 minutes.
  • Water-resistant: Reapply every 80 minutes.
  • Very water-resistant: Reapply every 2 hours.
