New Spaces Brighten Horvitz Tower: Andrew Uhrman Inpatient Cancer Unit and Zagara Specialty Clinic Open at Rainbow

UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital unveiled its state-of-the-art inpatient cancer unit for patient care in August. The life-affirming space extends the healing environment of the Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute to three contiguous floors in Horvitz Tower – 7^th floor for advanced inpatient care, 8th floor outpatient clinics, infusion therapy and pharmacy and 9th floor rooftop respite garden featuring unique horticultural therapy programs and activities.

In March, the Jeannette and Frank Zagara Pediatric Specialty Clinic opened for patient care. This colorful, multispecialty space brings many Rainbow specialists and sub-specialists into one convenient clinical location for our patients and families. The Clinic is located on the 1st floor of Rainbow’s Horvitz Tower, directly adjacent to the main lobby entrance. Specialties practicing there include:
