Ohio's First Proton Therapy Center

David Mansur, MD, Director of the Proton Therapy Center at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Krystal Tomei, MD, Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital discuss the newly unveiled Proton Therapy Center.  Located in Cleveland Ohio, the center is one of the world’s first ‘compact’ proton centers and features a unique single room system that is significantly smaller and more economical than first-generation proton therapy technology, while delivering the same powerful cancer-fighting radiation therapy.
