James H. Liu, MD, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UH Cleveland Medical Center, and Arthur H. Bill Professor and Chair of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, has been at the forefront of clinical research that uncovered the biological processes behind women’s health issues and has helped develop effective treatments. Dr. Liu discusses a new treatment for uterine fibroids using high intensity ultrasound currently under investigation.
