Jonathan Miller, MD, and Hans Luders, MD, PhD, of the UH Neurological Institute, discuss an epilepsy surgery case on patient, Gayle Waxon. Seattle resident Gayle Waxon had suffered from seizures for more than 25 years. While searching online for solutions she learned about a revolutionary surgical procedure -- multiple hippocampal transection - being performed at University Hospitals in Cleveland. To see a demonstration of this technique and how this procedure eliminated Gayle's seizures and effectively cured her epilepsy, watch the video.

Video recorded at University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio, July 2013.
