Group Medical Visits

University Hospitals Connor Whole Health is making it easier to access supportive, whole-person care while bringing people together. We're expanding our group medical visits with a focus on lifestyle medicine, offering new sessions that tackle common health challenges like cancer, diabetes and women’s health in a supportive, community-based setting.

These are medical visits billed to your insurance and include coaching, education and clinical treatment. Participants benefit from the support of other patients managing a similar health condition.

How Group Medical Visits Work

At UH Connor Whole Health, we offer group medical visit programs led by our lifestyle and integrative health providers. Groups meet several times over a series of weeks. Appointments take place in a secure, interactive setting and can be in-person or virtual.

Group visits are medical appointments billed through insurance. Copays may apply.

What Are the Benefits of Group Medical Visits?

Group medical visits allow you to meet other people managing similar health challenges, so you can share experiences and learn from each other. The shared experience can help you feel less alone and provide valuable emotional support.

Other benefits of group medical visits include:

  • Learning in-depth about your health conditions from an expert healthcare provider. You’ll learn more about your condition and what treatments and strategies have worked for others.
  • A comfortable environment to ask questions that concern you. If you have a question, chances are others have it, too.
  • A safe space where you can share goals, learn strategies to better manage your health, provide and receive emotional support, and celebrate small and large health victories – both yours and those of others.
