Personalized Urology Treatment & Care Plans

Just as each child is a unique individual, each patient’s urologic condition is affected by a distinct set of factors. As such, we always create highly personalized plans for the young patients under our care. For conditions diagnosed before birth, our pediatric urologists begin working with parents prior to delivery and in close cooperation with the maternal fetal medicine and neonatology teams, to develop a specific urology treatment plan that begins immediately after birth. The best care starts with the development and implementation of a treatment plan that is customized to each child’s unique needs and that can be modified as he or she progresses through treatment stages and developmental phases.

In some cases, pediatric urology diagnoses are part of a more complex disorder or syndrome with other associated diagnoses in other body systems. We recognize the importance of having a diverse care team that works together to provide a highly coordinated, multidisciplinary plan at several locations across northeast Ohio.
