UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital Birth Center
University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital is a Level III Regional Perinatal Center, offering the highest level of maternity care. We offer nationally renowned obstetricians, gynecologists, physicians and nurse midwives, state-of-the-art facilities and family-centered care for women and newborns. Here, every new mother can be assured she and her baby will receive the optimal level of care for every pregnancy and childbirth. With our nationally ranked, Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) just steps away, top newborn specialists are close by in the event your baby needs special care. UH Elyria Medical Center Birth Center
University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center’s Family Birth Center is located in Elyria, Ohio. Our doctors, midwives and maternity staff strive is to provide a memorable and fulfilling childbirth experience for expectant mothers and families in a comfortable, advanced care setting. We have 18 maternity suites and two surgical suites in the event a cesarean (c-section) delivery is necessary. The birth center also includes a Level II nursery with specially trained nurses and physicians for any babies who need special attention. UH Elyria Medical Center is a Baby-Friendly Hospital.
UH Geauga Medical Center Birth Center
Mothers who deliver their babies at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center receive top care for themselves and their babies. The department’s medical team is made up of board-certified obstetricians and nurses in addition to pediatricians and two on-site neonatologists (newborn specialists) from UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. The Center for Women’s Health features all-private rooms and bathrooms with the comforts of home.
UH Parma Medical Center Birth Center
University Hospitals Parma Medical Center in Parma, Ohio, offers expert medical care combined with private, comfortable birthing suites and postpartum rooms in a home-like setting so families can bond. We also house a Level I nursery when mothers need to rest. In the event a mother or baby requires advanced care, we have access to neonatal nurse practitioners from UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
