To ensure the most successful outcomes, our aortic disease team is comprised of experts from different disciplines. These individuals review patient cases together to decide the best treatment plan.

Our cardiac and vascular surgeons completed rigorous specialized training in the latest aortic treatment advances, both open surgical and endovascular techniques. Each patient will meet with their surgeon to discuss treatment options and recommendations, as well as answer any patient questions.

In addition, some patients will meet with one of our vascular medicine specialists to review medications, order any necessary associated diagnostic testing, and monitor patient health before and after a procedure.

As appropriate, patients will meet with a genetic specialist to evaluate and provide counsel for genetic aortic disorders.
