Breast Centers

Through its University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Breast Program, University Hospitals operates comprehensive breast centers at UH Cleveland Medical Center (Cleveland, Ohio); UH Ahuja Medical Center (Beachwood, Ohio); UH Mentor Health Center (Mentor, Ohio); UH Avon Health Center (Avon, Ohio); UH St. John Medical Center (Westlake, Ohio); and UH TriPoint Medical Center (Concord Township, Ohio). These centers are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons.

The majority of breast cancer patients at UH Seidman Cancer Center receive their care through breast specialists in these breast centers. Dedicated exclusively to breast cancer care, all breast surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and breast radiologists at our breast centers see only breast cancer patients. These experts are fellowship trained in breast cancer care and committed to staying up to date with the latest treatment recommendations for managing breast disease. Patients at UH breast centers are also reviewed by a multidisciplinary breast cancer tumor board and have access to the latest clinical trials.
