University Hospital Prepares Vascular Surgeons for Clinical and Academic Success

In collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center oversees a two-year Vascular Surgery Fellowship. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Working with a full-time faculty of accomplished teaching surgeons, our Vascular Surgery Fellowship prepares participants both clinically and academically for board certification and career success. Our fellowship is structured to incorporate both clinical and academic responsibilities in both years of training. We encourage the following during the fellowship:

  • Abstract and manuscript writing
  • Critical appraisal of literature during conference
  • National meeting/conference attendance and instruction in vascular laboratory studies
