Personal Interests: Running, hiking, plant/animal/mushroom identification, knitting, local history
Why I Chose Rainbow: I went to Case for med school and rotated through UH/Rainbow. I decided to stay for multiple reasons including the patient population, the breadth of training both clinically and from a research standpoint, as well as the collaborative attitude among staff at Rainbow. From a med-peds point of view I also appreciated the adult population and the opportunity to rotate through a large VA hospital.

Hometown: Shelby Township, MI
Undergrad: Michigan State University

Professional Interests: Global health and all things genetics!
Personal Interests: Hiking, camping, yoga, dancing – being active is my jam. I also love trying new restaurants, checking out live music, and going to sporting events (can’t wait for the Lions to play the Browns!)
Why I Chose Rainbow: Despite interviews being virtual, I couldn’t stop thinking about the positive vibes I felt after my conversations with both the pediatrics and genetics residents/faculty, which was important to me as a combined resident. I felt that Rainbow offered kind people that I would click with, a real emphasis on wellness and advocacy, and a fun city to live in.
