Hemostasis & Thrombosis Center Offers Comprehensive Care for Children and Adults

The University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hemostasis & Thrombosis Center is a lifespan center, where pediatric patients are seen at the Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute and adult patients are seen at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Our program specializes in multidisciplinary care for children with congenital thrombotic (blood clotting) and bleeding disorders. These include von Willebrand disease, hemophilia and other rare congenital conditions that increase the risk of bleeding or blood clots. The center also provides multidisciplinary hemostasis care to adult patients with congenital bleeding disorders.
