Child Passenger Safety

Free Service Helps Parents and Caregivers Properly Install Car Seats

Car Seat Fitting Stations are a free service offered to the public where parents, grandparents, and other caregivers can get help safely and securely installing car seats. University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Car Seat Fitting Stations are staffed by nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians who are experts in the proper use of child restraint systems.

Community Car Seat Fitting Stations

As the regional child passenger safety experts, Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital staff train and oversee a network of certified child passenger safety technicians in a 10-county area. To make sure parents can get help close to home, fitting stations are available at the following community locations. Always call ahead for availability.
