General Surgery Well-Being Committee
Our Mission
The Well-Being Committee is committed to enhancing the overall health and wellness of our residents, recognizing that physician well-being is fundamental to delivering exceptional patient care. We recognize that surgeons provide the highest quality patient care, and we are committed to fostering an environment where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered.
Through resident-driven initiatives and collaborative programming, we strive to:
- Develop innovative and proactive programs that promote wellness, inclusion, resilience, and community.
- Foster a culture that prioritizes the well-being of residents and physicians as an essential component of surgical education and professional growth.
Guided by resident feedback and engagement, our initiatives focus on four core pillars of wellness designed to support residents both inside and outside the clinical environment.

- Wednesday morning education breakfasts
