Primary Care Pharmacy Practice

• In-person and virtual appointments
• Working under a Collaborative Practice Agreement
• Active decision making and drug therapy management
• Longitudinal attendance at a primary care clinic (once weekly)

Culture Callbacks

• Follow up on patient cultures
• Active decision making experience with antimicrobial therapy
• Participating in Collaborative Practice Agreement

Cardiology Clinic

• Converting eligible patients from Warfarin to DOAC
• Expanding to follow up on Heart Failure, Afib, and more!

Patient-Centered Dispensing and Community Pharmacy

• Outpatient Community Pharmacies
• Patient cost savings services
  • 340b dispensing experience
• Meds to Beds service for regional hospitals

Teaching and Education

• Northeast Ohio Medical University teaching certificate course
• Teaching opportunities at Ursuline College and Northeast Ohio Medical University
• APPE pharmacy student precepting opportunities

Leadership and Management

• Ask The Pharmacist “on call”
• Committee involvement
• Longitudinal experience identifying leadership and management involvement throughout rotations

Legislative Advocacy

• Participate in legislative and policy discussions impacting pharmacy practice
• Engage with professional pharmacy organizations and advocacy initiatives
• Develop resources and communications supporting practice advancement efforts

Practice Innovation or Research Project

• Design and implement longitudinal residency projects
• Analyze data and evaluate project outcomes
• Present project findings to pharmacy stakeholders
