Research

The Department of Neurological Surgery offers residents a wide variety of clinical neurosurgery programs covering the full spectrum of neuroscience surgical options. The scope of programs offered is enhanced by the depth of resources provided through University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, UH Neurological Institute, and Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center, and in collaboration with one of the nation's top medical schools, Case Western Reserve University.

Students benefit from hands-on instruction from some of the nation's leading experts in cerebrovascular, neurocritical, neuro-oncological, skull-base, pediatric, spine, stereotactic, and functional neurosurgical therapies and techniques. The scope of programs offered is further enhanced by the depth of resources provided through the Department's affiliations with the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, UH Neurological Institute, and Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center. Neurosciences Research Day

The 10th annual Neurosciences Research Day was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 and 10, 2019, highlighted by a poster session and reception on Tuesday evening, and followed by platform presentations on Wednesday morning.
