Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy Cash Services
University Hospitals offers cash physical, occupational and speech therapy services for patients seeking non-medically necessary elective services that are not otherwise covered by insurance. These therapy services can be helpful for athletes seeking to prevent injury and enhance performance.
Cash therapy services we offer include:
- Cupping therapy
- Instrument-assisted soft tissue massage
- Kinesiotaping
- Stretching (passive, facilitated and mechanical)
- Dry needling (trigger point)
- Alter G
- Blood flow restriction
- Compression/cryotherapy (Game Ready, Normatec)
- Eccentron
- Golf fitness evaluation / management / functional movement screen
- Performance/prevention training
- UH running programs
- Video analysis
- ImPACT baseline concussion testing
- Voice performance enhancement and wellness training
- Accent reduction training
- Vocal cord dysfunction (VCD)
Pricing
The base pay for Phase II services is $25 per 15 minutes. Your first visit will include an evaluation in which the therapist will assess if the requested treatment is appropriate. If you are an established therapy patient and seeking the service less than 30 days from your last visit, the evaluation portion of your visit is not required.
Payment for specialized programs include:
- Performance/Prevention Training Program: $239 (first visit only) plus $25 per 15 minutes; up to 10 visits
- UH Running Programs: $239 (first visit only) plus $25 per 15 minutes
- Video Analysis: $99
- ImPACT Testing: $25 (if school is not covered by a UH trainer)
Payment is collected in full before the service is provided.
