The sleep medicine team at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s treats a wide range of childhood sleep disorders, from the common to the complex. With expert diagnosis and treatment, we offer proven, evidence-based methods to help children achieve quality sleep.
For many years, UH Rainbow doctors have been at the forefront of pediatric sleep medicine research. Our work has elevated the standard of care for children with snoring and other sleep issues in Ohio and around the globe. In addition, Rainbow’s division of pediatric pulmonology, which is the specialty practiced by many of our pediatric sleep medicine experts, is currently recognized as Northern Ohio’s Best Hospital for Pediatric Pulmonology by US News & World Report. Our multidisciplinary sleep medicine team includes pediatric specialists, pulmonologists, a clinical psychologist, advanced practice nurses and technicians.
The team includes a licensed clinical psychologist who is northern Ohio’s only pediatric provider with a Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.
