Vascular and Interventional Fellowship

The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Division in the Department of Radiology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, offers a one-year fellowship that studies all facets of vascular and interventional imaging procedures. Fellows will have the opportunity to perfect their skills in a wide variety of interventions offered at University Hospitals, including:

  • Angioplasty
  • Catheter-directed thrombolysis
  • Central line placement
  • Fibroid embolization
  • Inferior vena cava (IVC) filtration
  • Local and regional tumor therapy
    • Chemoembolization
    • Radioembolization
    • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Cryoablation
  • Pediatric interventions
  • Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS)
  • Vascular stenting

Applicant Requirements

All applicants are expected to have completed a U.S. residency training program in diagnostic radiology prior to starting this fellowship. We are actively applying for updated classification in accordance with the changes to the Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Interventional Radiology Residency Programs.
