Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Neuroscience Course

Health Education Campus

During the third year of training, residents return to the classroom for a six-week course in the neurosciences. This is one of the truly unique aspects of the Neurology Residency Program. During the course, the resident attends a half-day session each day in neuroanatomy, neurobiology and clinical neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at the new Health Education Campus. In addition, residents also act as teachers and facilitators, as they help direct small group and laboratory sessions. This experience is an excellent review of the neurosciences.
