Eligibility Requirements
Applications are accepted from MD and DO physicians who have completed an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in internal medicine or family medicine. The program supports J1 and H1B visa applicants and offers two fellowship positions per year.

ERAS Application
Applications are submitted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). This is the preferred application pathway for all candidates applying within the standard match cycle.
Off-Cycle and Post-Match Applications
If fellowship positions remain unfilled following the NRMP Match, candidates may apply directly to the program. Direct applications require the following materials sent directly to the program:
- ERAS Curriculum vitae (CV)
- USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3 score reports (or COMLEX-USA) – need to pass Step 3 in order to be eligible for interview
- Unexpired ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
- Minimum of three letters of recommendation, including one from your current Program Director, with contact information
- Personal statement (one page)
- Copy of medical school diploma
- Copy of medical school transcripts
- Letter stating you are due to complete your residency/fellowship training by a certain date (or copy of Residency/Fellowship [whichever is applicable] Completion Certificate)
- Copy of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine board certification (required if residency was completed more than two years ago)
Interview Process: What to Expect After You Apply
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected candidates will be invited to interview with program faculty. Interviews may be conducted virtually.
