Steve Strausbaugh, MD
Steve Strausbaugh, MD is an adult intensivist and pulmonologist with interests in primary ciliary dyskinesia and cystic fibrosis. A long-time medical educator, he has served as the program director of the Case Med-Peds residency at UH/Rainbow and the adult pulmonology fellowship at UH Cleveland Medical Center.

Sally Ibrahim, MD is a pediatric and adult sleep clinician and educator with research interests focusing on sleep disorders in children, sleep in women, sleep apnea and quality. She serves as director of pediatric sleep services and pediatric associate director for the sleep the fellowship program.
Grace McComsey, MD
Grace McComsey, MD is board certified in Adult and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She is the Vice President of Research and Associate Chief Scientific Officer at University Hospitals Health System. She leads the Clinical Research Center at UH, the central infrastructure for clinical research within UHHS. She is also the Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the author of over 250 peer-reviewed publications in the area of metabolic and cardiovascular complications of HIV infection and its treatment.

Leila Hojat, MD is a med-peds residency trained adult Infectious Diseases academic physician. She serves as the Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at UHCMC in addition to attending on general and COVID ID consult services, and her interests include novel antimicrobial agents, rapid diagnostics, and health disparities.
Nicole M. Johnson, MD
Nicole M. Johnson, MD is a Med-Peds trained Pediatric Intensivist with a primary practice in Pediatric Procedural Sedation. She serves as the co-medical director of the Pediatric Sedation Unit at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s. Her interests include training residents, fellows, and faculty in the safe practice of procedural sedation and advocating for physicians and patients through local and national health policy.
Martin Bocks, MD
Martin Bocks, MD is the Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Bocks is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. His clinical interests include transcatheter valve therapies and endovascular stenting in both children and adults with congenital heart defects. His research interests include pediatric medical device development with particular emphasis on bioresorbable technologies for cardiac catheterization procedures.
