Joint Camp Offers Innovative Approach to Joint Replacement
Joint camp is an innovative program at UH Beachwood Medical Center that is open to patients who are undergoing total joint replacement, including hip and knee replacement procedures. This integrated approach to care blends a team of skilled surgeons with experienced orthopedic nurses and therapists. The program allows small groups of patients to assist each other through the entire joint replacement surgery experience, starting during pre-op and continuing through post-surgical rehabilitation.
