Self-swab COVID-19 Collection Instructions

Sanitize your hands with provided cleaning wipes.

Confirm label is correct and place on tube. If label is not correct, return to staff to get this corrected.

Remove the swab from the kit. Do not touch the soft end of the swab.

Insert the soft end of the swab into a nostril as far as possible and scrub for 10 seconds.

Using the same swab, repeat step 4 with the other nostril.

Place the swab into the tube. Break off the indicated end of the swab and close the cap tightly.

Place the tube into the biohazard bag and seal.

Sanitize your hands with provided cleaning wipes.

Clean the outside of the bag with the wipes.

Return the sample.
