An Observational, Multicenter Study of the Prevalence of Cerebrotendinous Xanthomatosis (CTX) in Patient Populations Diagnosed with Early Onset Idiopathic Bilateral Cataracts

Purpose of Study

To help doctors find and diagnose patients with CTX earlier.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

  • Have cataracts in both eyes
  • Have no known cause for the cataracts
  • Were between the ages of 2 to 21 years old when the cataracts were first diagnosed
