Katherine Daunov, RN, MSN, CNP
Katherine Daunov RN, MSN, CNP is a board certified adult nurse practitioner in supportive and integrative oncology. In her current role she provides routine oncologic care for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. Additionally, she provides consultative services for patients with any cancer diagnosis who require specialized symptom management or desire an integrative approach to their cancer care. Mrs. Daunov is especially interested in supportive oncology for adolescents and young adults with cancer using mind-body techniques such as meditation, mindfulness, and yoga.
Mrs. Daunov received a Bachelor’s of Arts in nursing from Luther College. She subsequently received a Master’s of Science in nursing from University of Illinois in Chicago with a focus on adult health. She received a Palliative Care Certificate degree from the University of Colorado, and is currently pursuing a Clinical Doctorate in nursing from Case Western Reserve University. In addition to her academic pursuits, Mrs. Daunov is certified to teach mindfulness, meditation, and yoga at the y200 level.
