Tori Obermeier, MT-BC
Tori Obermeier is a board-certified music therapist with University Hospitals Connor Integrative Health Network serving patients at UH Seidman Cancer Center. She has previous music therapy experience in the following settings: hospice, oncology, Parkinson’s rehabilitation, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Tori graduated with her bachelor’s degree in music therapy and minor in psychology from the University of Dayton. She completed her six-month music therapy internship with Park Nicollet Health Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota before joining CIHN in 2019.
Tori works primarily from a humanistic, experience-oriented approach, and with the belief that music has the ability to tap into the “healthy self” of a patient. Outside of work, Tori enjoys cooking, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and University of Dayton basketball – Go Flyers!
