Experience & Diversity in Family Medicine Residency

An excellent feature of our residency program is that we have both community medicine and large system opportunities available.

We are a community-based residency but because we are a part of the University Hospital system, there are dozens of locations across the Greater Cleveland area where rotation opportunities can be met. We are able to rotate at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, which is a 1,000-plus bed tertiary care center. These sites allow for very different experiences that will provide residents with the ability to work as a team and autonomously. These experiences will help prepare residents for whatever future opportunities arise after residency.

We have two family medicine continuity clinic sites that offer a wide variety of patient populations and teaching styles allowing residents to obtain a plethora of skills in order to work in any outpatient clinic. Our clinic sites are located at University Hospitals Aurora Health Center and University Hospitals Chardon Health Center.
