Cook Ross Workshop: Everyday Bias for Health Care Professionals | Wednesday, June 22, 2022 | 8:00 - 10:00 am
The UH Office for Community Impact, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (CEDI) provides the Cook Ross Workshop "Everyday Bias Training for Health Care Professionals" for all incoming residents and fellows. This workshop supports our system-wide ongoing efforts to foster an inclusive work environment and deliver equitable care to our patients.
All incoming residents and fellows will be preregistered for the workshop and receive an email with the Zoom Link and program information.
Our commitment to creating a culture that celebrates diversity begins with each of us. This two-hour evidence-based workshop will help participants explore how their assumptions impact behavior and choices around communication, patient care, innovation, hiring, promotion, education, and building organizational culture. This session requires individual undivided attention for two hours, including visual and audio presence.
If you have questions or more information, don't hesitate to contact the CEDI Department at: MaryElizabeth.Ruttenberg@UHhospitals.org.
