Class of 2025

Charles W. Gallagher, MD
Medical School: St. George’s University School of Medicine
Interests: Watching and supporting my favorite sport teams; Building various types of models including cars, airplanes etc.; Reading Sci-fi novels and publications. My interest outside of medicine learning about history (in particular WWI and WW2; Investing and learning about the stock market; Learning and experimenting with new culinary techniques; Advocacy for individuals with learning disabilities; Spending time outdoors and participating in various activities such as hiking.

Marwan Habr, MD
Medical School: St. George’s University School of Medicine
Interests: Sports, playing and matching both tennis and soccer in particular; Writing and one of my goals is to author at least one novel; Guitar, I love to pick up and learn songs; Fitness and exercises; Became a major aspect of my life during medical school; Cultural Linguistics, I am fascinated by the historical context behind language development; Podcasting some of the outcomes of the pandemic pushed me to begin recording scientific educational material.

Talha Khan, MD
Medical School: Saba University School of Medicine
Interests: Sneakers; I enjoy pairing with outfits and have also been interested in cordwaining; Formula, I find the strategic and risk-taking aspects very intriguing; Gaming, I play multiplayer games such as Halo but also enjoy board games; Camping, annual trips with family and cousins.

Jordan Patterson, DO
Medical School: Ohio University Heritage School of Osteopathic Medicine
Interests: Self-taught Guitar and piano, DJ, Golf, Football, Scuba Diving, Tennis, and video games.

Ang Sherpa, MD
Medical School: Brighton and Sussex Medical School
Interests: I practice daily meditation and work out regularly. During my free time, I enjoy going on a long hike and I also love dancing.

Hajjara Abdus-Salaam, MD
Medical School: Saba University School of Medicine
Interests: Outside of medicine, I love to travel, mainly internationally. I've made it to 5/7 continents so far. I love trying different cuisines, and I'm always looking for new restaurants to try! I also enjoy listening to music, reading books, and relaxing at home with family.

Elizebeth Gero, MD
Medical School: Ross University School of Medicine
Interests: I love traveling, running, swimming and spending time with my family. I also enjoy baking, going to orchestra concerts and watching my son play travel soccer.

Ajay Hara, MD
Medical School: St. George’s University School of Medicine
Interests: Sports and physical activity. I grew up playing various sports, including football, soccer, hockey and golf. Any spare time I can get is spent on a golf course or hiking with family and friends.

Sarah Hutton, DO
Medical School: University of North Texas Health Sciences Center Texas – College of Osteopathic Medicine
Interests: I grew up playing and watching basketball; I am a die-hard San Antonio Spurs fan! I played competitively for 10 years, and still play for fun when I have the time. My mom, sister, and I have run 2 half marathons together (2019 and 2020) and are currently training for our third scheduled for Feb 2023 in Disney World. I have been to Scotland, England, Honduras, France, and most recently, Greece! I’ve been to 40+ concerts in my life! My first and favorite was Kelly Clarkson when I was 12.

Cassandra Kfoury, MD
Medical School: American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine
Interests: I am passionate about activities that bring me joy and fulfillment. I love exploring nature and traveling. I also like to stay active with yoga, walks, and hikes that help maintain my physical and spiritual well-being. Cooking and quality time with loved ones also hold a special place in my heart, especially with my dog Cello, my partner in crime.”
