Training New Leaders in Dermatology for Over 60 Years

Welcome to the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Dermatology Residency Program. Our three year dermatology residency program is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. We have been training dermatologists for over 60 years! Take a look at our amazing graduates.

Our program offers a unique opportunity for residents to learn in diverse clinical environments, including UH Cleveland Medical Center, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, UH Seidman Cancer Center, multiple satellite campuses, and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. In addition to a well-rounded clinical education, we support research opportunities for residents, including an option for a four year academic track for physician-scientists. We have a culture of camaraderie among faculty and residents, which is one of the many reasons we love working here. We are looking for compassionate trainees who have a patient-first mindset. Beyond obtaining core dermatology knowledge, we emphasize the professional and leadership development of residents. We offer formal and informal attending-resident mentorship opportunities. Our residents and faculty enjoy engaging in the community through volunteering and outreach programs. We are an energetic department that quickly adapts to the ever-changing global and regional healthcare environment and are dedicated to making our residents well-prepared for a successful and enjoyable life-long career in dermatology.
