Gwyneth Baker, MHA

Gwyneth Baker, MHA

Duquesne University

Gwyneth is one of the 2026-27 UH Administrative Fellows, and come to UH with a strong foundation in public health. Her interest in healthcare administration began early, influenced by her mother’s experience as a nurse, which highlighted both the rewards of patient care and the realities of burnout. She earned her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Florida, where she developed an interest in preventive, system-level approaches to care. She later completed her Master of Health Administration at Duquesne University, refining her focus on improving health outcomes through leadership, policy, and organizational strategy. During graduate school, she also worked full-time as a Public Health Educator with the Allegheny County Health Department, supporting maternal and child health initiatives.

Gwyneth was initially drawn to a fellowship at University Hospitals due to the integration of patient care, research, and community impact. She is looking forward to gaining broad exposure across service lines, contributing to impactful projects, and learning alongside both leaders and frontline teams. Throughout the fellowship, Gwenyth is eager to explore projects in clinical operations, workforce development, and process improvement to better support frontline staff.

Outside of work, Gwyneth enjoys staying active with her dog, playing tennis, cooking, and exploring new communities as she begins her new chapter in Cleveland.

Lucy Ranieri Holle, MHA

Lucy Ranieri Holle, MHA

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Lucy is the second 2026-27 UH Administrative Fellow, returning to Cleveland and UH with a strong interest in mission-driven care. Her passion for healthcare administration began in high school while shadowing a hospital operations department, where she saw firsthand the impact of coordinated care on patient outcomes. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and then completed her Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. Lucy has experience in healthcare operations and strategy, including Northwell Health’s Management Associate Program, where she supported budgeting and contributed to quality improvement initiatives. She also worked at Cleveland Clinic on research related to CMS policy and innovative care delivery models.

At University Hospitals, Lucy is excited to gain hands-on management experience with the program’s interim manager experience and further explore her interests in pediatrics, market analysis, and inpatient operations through the project component.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys baking, needlepointing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
