University Hospitals E-Visit
University Hospitals providers treat a number of common medical conditions virtually through email to get you feeling better fast.
Start an E-VisitStep 1:
Complete Questionnaire
It will take 5 to 15 minutes to answer a series of questions about how you’re feeling, and the symptoms you’re experiencing. You may be asked to provide photos of areas of concern, such as a rash.
Step 2:
Provider Reviews
A UH provider will review your questionnaire responses and create a treatment plan, which may include a prescription if necessary. Please note that if you cannot be treated for your E-Visit, you will not be charged.
Step 3:
Treatment Plan
You'll be notified when the results are available within 24 hours. If a prescription is part of your treatment plan, our providers can electronically send a prescription to your pharmacy of choice.
UH E-Visits should not be used for medical emergencies. Please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing serious symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or uncontrolled bleeding.
Affordable, Convenient Option for Care
UH E-Visits are $40 per visit. You may choose to bill your insurance (you may be asked to pay a copay) or you can choose not to use insurance and pay for this visit up front. Some insurances will apply a E-visits to your deductible or cover part of the service.
