Thrombosis Panel

The Thrombosis Panel includes testing for Prothrombin (Factor II) G20210A mutation analysis and Factor V Leiden mutation analysis with reflex to Factor V HR2 if the Factor V Leiden testing is positive. Individuals with multiple thrombophilic mutations develop venous thromboembolism at a younger age and are at higher risk for recurrent thrombosis than those with a single defect.

The panel may be ordered as is or the tests may be ordered individually.
