"I learned a lot about adult and pediatric epilepsy, and at the same time about the electrophysiological basics of the EEG. Before the course I didn’t know how to read and clinically interpret the EEG. By the end of the course, I felt more confident with my EEG interpretations. For me, the EEG course was an opportunity to learn about epilepsy and EEG from the best teachers in the world. The course opened a lot of opportunities for me. Firstly, the course gave me the chance to be accepted for one year research scholarship at the UH CMC epilepsy center. When I returned to my homeland, I started working as pediatric epileptologist in Emek medical center at a hospital in north of Israel. Now I am responsible for the EEG interpretation at the hospital and we are on our way to start new service in our hospital which is called video EEG. I think that without joining the EEG course at UH CMC, I could not have reached the position that I have today at the Emek hospital. I also learned a lot about other people’s cultures. I met physician from all over the world and up to this day we are friends and consult each other. During the course everybody was so friendly and, in the end, we were not only teachers and students we were a family. The environment in the course was so comfortable, and even though I left a year ago I still have the chance to consult with my mentors at UH and rainbow hospital. I was really grateful to have been a part of this learning process. Thank you all.”
