COVID-19 Rapid Response Pilot Project

The UH Research & Education Institute (UH R&E) launched a pilot program in April 2020 that was made possible through generous charitable support of UH donors in response to COVID pandemic. The intente of this request for proposals was to seek and advance efforts of UH investigators in the global fight against the novel Coronavirus and its complications. In particular, UH R&E aimed to support investigator-initiated research ideas across full spectrum of research activities, including discovery and drug development, clinical research and clinical trials, health care delivery and outcomes, and workforce competencies and practice-based learning in medical crises.
