Musculoskeletal Imaging Research

The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging has several current projects underway, including sarcoma imaging, Artificial Intelligence (AI), sports imaging, quality improvement projects, and informatics. In addition, we have several active collaborative projects, including developing an AI algorithm for fracture detection, retrospective and prospective studies with our Sarcoma Research Group (SaRG), and projects aimed at improving and maintaining the quality of care we provide for our patients.

We encourage participation from medical students, residents, and MD/PhD faculty. In addition, we welcome collaboration with private institutions aimed at development and validation and interdepartmental teamwork. Currently, we have ongoing research collaborations with the Departments of Orthopedics, Rheumatology, and Biomedical Engineering. We look forward to continuing to foster an environment of discovery.
