Our pediatric integrative medicine services are in network for most insurance plans.
About Pediatric Integrative Medicine
Pediatric integrative medicine combines conventional pediatric medicine practices with holistic healing methods. It can be an ideal approach for children with chronic conditions by treating pain and other symptoms while minimizing the need for pharmaceuticals and invasive procedures and tests.
Integrative therapies are appropriate for children and teens, and many of the services that can help adults can also be helpful for pediatric patients. In addition to effective holistic treatment for common childhood conditions, the use of integrative medicine can help children develop healthy habits and promote the importance of whole-body wellness from an early age.
What to Expect
During an integrative medicine consult, our integrative pediatric provider will conduct an evaluation that includes a discussion of your child’s medical history and lifestyle habits such as diet, sleep and physical activity. We will talk about your child’s conditions and symptoms as well as health goals. Additional tests may be ordered to learn more about your child’s overall health.
Our provider will then work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that feels manageable, and follow up with you to be sure you are getting the desired results. This plan may include changes in diet and exercise, sleep and other lifestyle habits, as well as holistic therapies that can enhance your child’s health and well-being.
