Katie Regula

Katie Regula

Katie Regula is the current music therapy intern for University Hospitals Conner Integrative Health Network. During her undergrad, Katie provided therapeutic experiences for clients in a juvenile detention center, nursing home, as well as adolescents with developmental disabilities, stroke rehabilitation, and in-patient medical setting. She also completed the International Training Institute in Neurological Music Therapy. Katie currently works primarily at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center with a principal focus of pain and stress management for inpatients. Katie also provides treatment through various outpatient and community groups held at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. These include outpatient pulmonary rehab, Mommy and Me groups, lactation groups, and community drumming and wellness classes.

Upon completion of internship, Katie will receive her Bachelors of Music degree from Cleveland State University. After passing the Board Certification Exam, Katie aspires to continue work in the medical setting and eventually continue her education through a master’s degree.

Outside of clinical work, Katie enjoys biking through the metro parks, trying new restaurants, and playing music with friends.
