When 42-year-old B’Lon went into sudden cardiac arrest at home, her daughter Mahogany called 911 and began chest compressions until EMS arrived – actions that saved her mom’s life. Dr. Michael Zacharias and Dr. Ryan Christofferson of University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute were part of B’Lon’s care team. Their story was featured at the February 27, 2026 American Heart Association Go Red for Women Experience in Cleveland, Ohio.
