Lip and oral cavity cancer is usually found in the tongue, the lips and the floor of the mouth, but may also be found in the gums, the roof of the mouth and behind the wisdom teeth. It is estimated that over 45,000 new cases of oral cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2015, according to the American Cancer Society. Our team has successfully treated thousands of patients with a wide range of oral cancers. In fact, the best outcomes from treating these and other head and neck related cancers come from the collaboration of a diverse team of experts.

UH Seidman Cancer Center is a nationally recognized cancer program with expertise in both routine and complex care for every stage of lip and oral cavity cancer.
