Our Consultative Gastroenterology & Gastrointestinal Surgery Center team practices and ensures exemplary standards of care for our patients across Northeast Ohio. Our top-notch physicians and nurses comprise an average 20 years in gastroenterology training and experience. The community gastrointestinal team offers 24/7 coverage for inpatient consults and emergencies for University Hospitals community hospitals. UH Digestive Health Institute community physicians work with our gastroenterology and surgical team at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center to provide access for advanced procedures, liver disease management and colorectal surgery. Multiple office locations in the community offer convenient access for individuals to receive care close to home.

The high quality services we provide to physicians and patients include:

• Acute and chronic management of general gastroenterological conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), constipation, nausea, vomiting and incontinence
• Gastrointestinal cancer screening and prevention through colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
• Treatment and management of inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
• Evaluation and direct referral for both acute and chronic liver diseases
