Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship
University Hospitals Urology Institute, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, offers the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. Each year, we train one female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery fellow, alternating annually between urology and gynecology candidates. Urologists are required to complete two years of training, while gynecologists complete three years of training.
As a female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery fellow, you will be exposed to a variety of clinical problems, large patient volume, and the full breadth of pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. You will work alongside a diverse group of fellowship-trained faculty in the following areas:
- Colorectal surgery
- Female urology
- Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Physical therapy
- Robotic surgery
- Stem cell research
