Letter from the Fellowship Coordinator

“I have been the Academic Program Administrator in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry since 2007. As program administrators, we wear so many hats – tending to the daily nuts and bolts of our programs and keeping up with all of the tracking, schedules, didactics, etc. I have planned many graduation events, offered advice, a shoulder to cry on, celebrated marriages and births of children and academic successes and achievements. But what I derive the most satisfaction from is participating in preparing my fellows for their futures. I have been here long enough to see my trainees become the Program Training Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, Program Training Director for the Post Pediatric Portal Program, two Medical Directors of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Units, two Medical Directors at large Community Mental Health Centers and multiple residents and fellows appointed as faculty.”
