Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center offer is a one-year post graduate fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology. This is an Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) accredited fellowship. There is one clinical follow per year. The fellow we will work closely with the orthopaedic trauma staff to develop skills necessary to have a successful career managing complex orthopedic trauma pathologies. The fellow will be responsible for learning management of multiply injured patients in the ICU setting, complex pelvic and acetabular fractures, as well as a multitude of periarticular injuries. There will be one scientific research paper requirement. There will also be opportunities exposure to arthroplasty, direct anterior total hip replacement, Ilizarov techniques and complex nonunion/malunion repair, as well as hip dysplasia and pelvic osteotomy. The fellow is matched to the SF match program.
