Education & Training
Ultrasound
Our division conducts more than 5500 distinctive anatomic evaluations annually and manages over 450 cases involving fetal structural malformations. Our close proximity to UH Rainbow Babies & Children's enables seamless access to a comprehensive range of pediatric specialties, fostering collaboration facilitated by our weekly multi-disciplinary fetal care clinic and bi-monthly fetal boards.
Genetics
Fellows will participate in one genetics rotation and longitudinal experience in our fetal-care clinic and have opportunities for additional elective experiences. Previous graduates of our integrated program have received successful training in CVS when pursuing such specialized education.
Fetal Intervention
Our Labor and Delivery unit handles over 3000 deliveries each year, drawing from five regional units across Northeast Ohio. Fellows participate in rotations within continuity clinics located in three of our outpatient offices allowing them to care for diverse patient populations. Our Diabetes in Pregnancy Program features a group care model, nutrition programs through an on-site educational kitchen, and collaboration with a neighboring grocery store to help address food insecurity.
Clinical Obstetrics
Our Labor and Delivery unit handles over 3500 deliveries each year, drawing from five regional units across Northeast Ohio. Fellows participate in rotations within continuity clinics located in three of our outpatient offices. Led by Dr. Christopher Nau, our Diabetes in Pregnancy Program features a group care model, nutrition programs through an on-site educational kitchen, and collaboration with a neighboring grocery store to help address food insecurity.
Substance Use Disorders
Rainbow Interdisciplinary Substance Exposure (RISE) clinic is a grant-funded, multi-disciplinary clinic housed in our inner-city location. First year fellows will gain experience by managing these patients as part of their independent practice.
Wellness Retreat
The fellowship boasts a half-day Wellness retreat where fellows engage in activities without any clinical responsibilities. Additionally, fellows may take up to 3 days off for Wellness.
