UH Seidman Cancer & Infusion Center at UH Samaritan

What is an Infusion Center?

Infusion centers provide specialized care by clinicians skilled in administering infusion therapy.

Chemotherapy is the most common method of infusion therapy, which is the delivery of medication through a catheter or needle. In addition to treating cancer, infusion therapy can also treat infections unresponsive to oral antibiotics, gastrointestinal disease, immune deficiencies and more.

Since patients can spend a significant amount of time undergoing infusion therapy, UH Samaritan offers an infusion center located apart from the main medical center facility. This is more comfortable and convenient for the patient and their loved ones.

UH Samaritan’s Seidman Cancer and Infusion Center provides chemotherapy five days a week.

The Infusion Center is located at 350 Hillcrest Drive, beside UH Samaritan Medical Center. For more information, call the Infusion Center at 419-207-2722.
