Ensuring guests have all the services they need during their visit is one way we work to provide a less stressful hospital experience. With this goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:

Onsite Dining Options

Located on the second floor of the hospital, the UH Beachwood Medical Center Café is committed to promoting good health by providing an array of items made from fresh ingredients that meet our wellness criteria. In addition, the Bikur Cholim Hospitality room, also on the second floor, offers a welcoming relaxation space for patients and their families along with kosher meals, snacks and beverages.

Café Hours:

Monday – Friday
11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The kitchen is open until 6:30 p.m. Staff can assist with entering a gourmet, customized order after 3 p.m. and on weekends.

Visitors who would like to order a room service meal and eat with a patient can pre-purchase a meal in the Café. The visitor simply asks the cashier for a guest tray ticket and pays by cash or credit card. Be sure to save the receipt. The visitor can then order through room service, just as a patient would. When meals are delivered, the receipt is exchanged for the guest tray.

Free Wi-Fi

UH Beachwood Medical Center offers free wireless high-speed internet for patients and visitors. To connect, please follow these steps:

• Turn on your WiFi-enabled device: smartphone, tablet or laptop.
• Connect to the wireless network UH_Guest.
• Launch the web browser and go to the website www.UHhospitals.org.
• Read the user agreement and click Accept.
• If you do not see a UH welcome page, you may need to configure the SSID or network name to UH_Guest.

Pastoral Care

For many people, a hospital admission can be a stressful experience. You find yourself in unfamiliar surroundings separated from your family, friends and religious community. To help during your stay, UH Beachwood Medical Center offers confidential chaplaincy services 24/7 for patients and families. Please talk to your nurse to arrange a pastoral call.

Lost and Found

If you find an item that doesn’t belong to you or you are missing one that may have been left in the hospital, please visit the main lobby reception desk and ask the attendant to contact Protective Services for you.
