Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Renewal: Healthcare Provider

The American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Refresher/Update Course is designed for healthcare professionals who currently hold or have prior ACLS training and need to renew and strengthen their knowledge and skills in the recognition and management of cardiopulmonary emergencies.

This instructor-led course provides an interactive review of the latest AHA ACLS guidelines and emphasizes high-quality CPR, systematic patient assessment, airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, defibrillation, cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, medication therapy, and effective high-performance team dynamics.

Through hands-on practice and realistic case-based scenarios, participants will apply ACLS algorithms, demonstrate effective team communication and leadership, and practice the rapid assessment and treatment of patients experiencing cardiac arrest, peri-arrest conditions, stroke, and other cardiovascular emergencies.

Upon successful completion of all course requirements, participants will receive an AHA ACLS Provider Course Completion Card, valid for two years.

The course has a fee of $150 for those who are not UH caregivers. All UH caregivers must pay for their E-card, fee is $12.
